Survived the second week. Got sick in the middle of it, which sucked, but better now.
More photos on that photos page... moved into my own house in the beginning of the week, super happy about that, and I love the house. Tiny, but cute, and it feels like home, which is the important part for me. Those are the pics that are up, obviously.
Went to my first (and only) HP party last night for the final book. Nothing fancy, no Borders around so I had to go to Wallyworld... basically wandered around the store for about 2 hours, grabbed my book at 12, and got out the door by 12:20. Not bad, really. Read until 3, then crashed out... been reading since 9AM. Figured I should pry myself away and get some real stuff done today, like, grocery shopping and making contact with the world away from my house and work. Wierd, eh?
Other than that, not a whole lot going on. Busy making my house a home, it's starting to feel that way. Money's gonna be a little thin for now, but it'll get better. My landlords are great, they're letting me stay in the house for 2 weeks rent free, they've been super nice and helpful. My rent is gonna get cut by a few hundred dollars this winter while I'm taking care of their horses... they're gonna be gone. That'll help for the rent, but school paymets are gonna be coming due then, so we'll see how well that works out. Might have to get a roomie... yucky. I like living alone. Though I'm hatching plans. Anyway, I should get to the grocery store so I can get back to the house and the book... I guess I should eat, eh?
Despite the fact that I biffed it AGAIN on the same patch of ice today, I had a good day. Stepped out of my truck, had one foot on the ground, and slid the rest of the way out of my truck onto my knees. *insert multiple swearwords here*
But! I didn't have farrier today, which freed up midmorning. Haven't had a whole lot of sleep recently, that will hopefully be remidied tonight/tomarrow. I don't have any morning classes tomarrow *yipee!!*

Peppy was a whore today, but I had an interesting/fun ride on Prise at 4. Couldn't get him stopped properly for beans by taking my leg off, so Jen eventually just had me put my spurs in him. Damn near had him sit on me that time. I was doing EVERYTHING wrong... on purpose. Jen had me basically draw my leg up trying to get him to stop, had me "shake his head down" (seesaw) and it felt SO WRONG! It was kinda fun, though. He is not easy to ride. He's so incredibly freaking sweet, though. He let me cuddle with him, and he always has his nose on you if he can. Never tries to bite, just has his nose on you. Not so cute when he's liberally wiping snot down your front, but still. I was rolling my polos within reach of his window, and he kept lipping at my neck, it tickled like crazy, but was, again, wicked cute. I really, really like that horse.
My neck still hurts, but two excedrin take most of the edge off it. It hurts to chew now, too, I have no idea what I hit, but I have a tender spot on my lower jaw. Grr. Yay for thermacare heat wraps.
